I came across an article on inc. a few years ago and the heading goes "The Science of Why You Really Shouldn't Start Your Day With the Headlines”. Thanks to this amazing article, I halted my habit of scrolling through news first thing in the morning and eventually, my “drinking problem” of having at least 2 cups of coffee in a row has resolved. Tech news or even entertainment have then become my choice. :P
However, since June 2019, the world has been imbuing with melancholy and agony. Unwilling though I was, I fell into the vicious cycle of waking up with headlines again. No kidding, I even consider adding alcohol into my coffee! But then, I came up with an idea to cheer myself up—posting a photo on Instagram every day as the mood of the day.
It’s like filling “sunny” in “today’s weather” before knowing how the weather is like.🌞 We all subconsciously yearn for a beautiful day with a euphoric mood, don’t we?
